Michigana Jones  Reedy Software1985In this text adventure game, players are searching for the Golden Idol. The player may leave the house, but doing so without the idol is giving up (game over). The house is full of weapons and monsters, pair the right weapons with the right monsters or run away to survive. The game is designed with the intention that the player will keep notes from the clues and draw their own map of the house. There are 50 'rooms'.

Move with "NORTH", "SOUTH", "EAST", "WEST", or just the letters ("N", "S", "E", "W"). Type all capitol two word commands in the form of "VERB NOUN" except for "I" and "TURN ON". Some essentials are "I" (or "INVENTORY"), "GET", "DROP", "EAT", "DRIN" ("DRINK"), "K" , "READ", "TURN ON", and "READ CLUE".***The story goes that an old man named Daryl Misteree spent
most of his life in his house, which he built himself. The
locals used to think (and still db) that he was a warlock.
Two years ago he died. He had no relatives, so his estate
become the property of the city. The city still owns it and
can' t sell it --Everyone seems to think that it' s haunted!

There's also a rumor that there's a valuable Golden Idol
locked away somewhere in the house, but no one has ever
attempted to find it. Enter you, Michigana Jones, brave
adventurer! The city has hired you to prove that the house
isn' t haunted. Believing that there isn't a Golden Idol, the
city has even agreed to let you keep it, should you find it!
